Connecticut Police Work Dog Association
"To assist,
unite, train, and promote police service dogs"
Citizens of Connecticut
Day after day, month after month, and year after year, the K-9 units
from the Connecticut Police Work Dog Association protect our streets
and the lives of their handlers. With complete disregard for their
own safety, they perform their jobs and guard our streets. Requiring
little in return, they watch over their handler "partners" for only
their food, love and affection. With the skill of a world class
athlete and the precision of a fine timepiece, they work in harmony
with our law enforcement to keep Connecticut safe. The situations
they encounter are constant; their life threatening scenarios are
real. With your financial help, we can help provide better
protection (ballistic vests, etc.), better nutrition, better
training and better care needed to maintain our K-9 units in
Connecticut for our furry, four-legged friends. You will not just be
helping protect these tireless; you will be helping to ensure
the safety of our K-9s and handlers so they can return home to their
loved ones. The important goals that our K-9 units pursue are only
possible from the financial support of individuals like you. This
assistance allows us to continue our mission of helping to serve and
protect the citizens of Connecticut that deserve a safe environment
to live.
Sincerely,
James A. Cortina
C.P.W.D.A. Board Director
